Little Warthog has a possum. We have a banded mongoose! Mickey Mongoose and his family have happily installed themselves next to the compost bins, where they snuffle around and eat any snakes and rats that come along.
They can definitely stay, then.

Mongooses (mongeese?) are great. And so cute. As you say, very good news when it comes to vermin. Enjoy!
Sweet! And the appetite for snakes is an added bonus. We've got a family of hedgehogs keeping us entertained at the moment.
He is cute :) We have critters in our yard too but they are more along the lines of javalina and great horned owls.
